My Story
I would like to share My Scentsy Story with you as many of you don't know how it all started.
My name is Barb Sims. I am a mother of 3 great kids, Gramma to 8 amazing grandchildren and have a great life partner. I work part time at Costco and I am loving my Scentsy business.
I had never heard of Scentsy before and in 2013 I received the Whoot Warmer as a Christmas Gift from my daughter. She knew it would be a hit with me as I LOVE Owls and the wax she chose smelled awesome. I was lucky enough to be gifted some more wax bars from my son and daughterinlaw and then didn't know a Scentsy Consultant to order more. But my Whoot Warmer stayed in my living room as a decoration.
In February of 2019 my daughter joined Scentsy and I was now able to order from her. I quickly learned about all the amazing products that are now available....Scentsy is not just Wax and Warmers any more!
After placing a couple orders with my daughter she told me I should join Scentsy too. I couldn't believe that she thought I could do it. ME?? I am too shy, I have no self confidence and I can't even imagine trying to talk to people I don't know. After a couple conversations of her encouraging me I decided to join in May 2019. I have to admit that I joined expecting to FAIL.
Well, as you can see, I didn't fail. I have come out of my shell and I have gained so much confidence in myself. I am having so much fun meeting new people, building new friendships, earning an extra income, hosting Fundraisers to help others raise needed funds and sharing the beauty of Scentsy. I love that I have the flexability to do it whenever, wherever and as often or as little as I choose to.
Joining Scentsy has made positive changes to my life that I would have never dreamed were possible and I am truly thankful for.💜
